The Church of Saint George Lalibela, Ethiopia.
Abebe is based in the historic and religious town of Lalībela, a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1978. You can visit 11 monolithic churches, hewn out of solid rock more than 800 years ago. The church complex was further completed with an extensive system of drainage ditches, trenches and ceremonial passages, some with openings to hermit caves and catacombs.
Nothing can prepare you for the reality of seeing it for yourself.
